TELL THE STORY – the best way to support the woodHenge Foundation its tell other people about its Mission and OutReach Functions and Activities. Use our Blog function to share stories of any impact these have had on your life. Write a poem, song or story inspired by our message or involvement in an Event or Function.
PARTICIPATE – you can host a special event such asa meeting or teach-in by renting a Venue at the Haven Event Center. Attend Event and Functions offered by the Foundation and Hosts with the citizenship essential to the concept of “haven.” Consider In-Kind Service in addition to monetary donations. Follow the “Share - Learn – Grow” approach in your daily life.
MEMBERSHIP – becoming a Member of the Foundation gives you a more direct voice in Foundation Activities, a monthly newsletter with special offers and invitations, discounts on some Activities or products PLUS the pride of keeping the Dream alive. $12.00 annual donation.
SPONSORSHIP – becoming a Sponsor included Membership, eligibility to become a Board Member, and a vote on any future changes in Foundation Mission, legal structure or Functions. $200 annual donation.
DONATIONS - monetary donations help cover basic expenses of rent, insurance and utilities. We are not a business. This can be fifty-cents for a cup of tea at the 60’s Coffee House or $20.00’s dropped in a box as a “thank you.” Many Event activities will have “suggested donation markers.” Large donations would always be appreciated fro those inspired by our Mission and Functions. We currently are not a 501(c) entity for non-taxable donations. Such donations can be made through Paypal to hengemusic@yahoo.com as “friends and family”.
IN-KIND Service – physical upkeep and safety of the properties and structures under Foundation control need maintenance, repairs and TLC. Special offers from contractors, vendors and private citizens are appreciated. Several times a year the Foundation will host a “Rakey Day” for volunteers to gather for general cleanup-up and yard maintenance, followed by a cooperative dinner and evening fun activities.
VENUE RENT – all use parts of the Haven Event Center are though AirBnb. Consider this a donation to provide taxes to the County and additional insurance coverage. It also guarantees equal access and documentation for future legal purposes such as a sale of the property.
VENDERS - we are Zoned Agricultural that limits the kinds of business activities allowed on the property. The Foundation can rent Venues and property use but never be involved in the collection of money or debt. We can allow outside Vendors to sell on our property if it serves our Mission and sponsored functions. They would be expected to donate a portion of revenues to the Foundation.
PARTNER – one of our objective to sell the Goose Creek property and apply the funds to the WildLife Sanctuary in a major way. We could sustain the future continuity of the Haven Event Center by having an investing partner. Any investment would be guaranteed by any future sale, and they would have a seat of the Board of Directors. A share of profits and tax depreciation are in play also.
