Our huge home and unique property is being opened to select guests to use for meetings, teach-ins, mini-gatherings and “who knows.” There will be small Venues available for reservation/rent with a sense of “haven” from the outside world. The main floor has a Common usable by everyone attending a private Venue, or for special larger Events sponsored by the non-profit woodHenge Foundation. Use is for registered guests only with special rules for behavior in the Common Area and respect for others. Review the Haven Rules.
This is not a business, but Venues can provide services or sell product on their own accountability. We will exist on donations from enthused Members and Friend of Haven. Most Venue reservations will be though AirBnB for a small fee to cover some utilities, maintenance and cleaning. The required sales tax is a donation to the County for supportive fire, legal and road maintenance.
The Center is a “work in progress” with an opportunity for interested parties to provide input as to types of Venues desired, scheduling and support. Each Wednesday evening 5:30PM – 7:00PM is set aside for a Meet&Greet and tour of the facilities. The first Sunday of each month from 10:00AM – Noon is also set aside for a Meet&Greet following the non-religious Sunrise Celebration. Venues are available for all types of legal activities, but preference will be given to those consistent with the woodHenge Foundation Mission – protection of land/resources, animal husbandry, metaphysical freedom, education and citizenship. Venues will be for 3½ hours in a Four-Hour window
Morning, Noon, Afternoon & Evening. Multiple time-slots and reservations for regular day or weekly usage will get special consideration. No overnight reservations.

RESISTER as a GUESTContact
The Rules!
When in HAVEN …
Welcome to our home! As a registered guest you can expect some protection from the crazy world outside. We ask that you respect the privacy and interests of other guests as well. Here are some house rules for the Common Area.
- The main floor living room, kitchen, dining room, two restrooms and both porches are for the common use of all persons at the Center. Other rooms/areas are Event Venues for private use by reservation only.
- No smoking, use of alcohol or any illegal substance anywhere.
- Use of any phone, computer, camera or recorder is disrespectful to the privacy and serenity of other guests. Leave them in your car. If your profession requires outside communication, make calls on the porch or in a designated “cone of silence.”
- The restrooms are single-person facilities; not a conference, gossip or call center. Be Brief – Be Clean – Be Gone. On a septic tank, so do not put any article in a commode except provided paper.
- Anything you bring with you must leave with you unless deposited in the proper recycle bin, trash can or donation/suggestion box.
- What happens in a private Venue, stays in the Venue. These rooms can be rented “on the cheap” for teach-ins, hobby groups or meetings. The Common Area is not for selling, lecturing or the distribution of literature/materials.
- Beverage, snack and meal items are provided on a “donation only” basis. This is not a business, and your mother is not here to clean up after you.
- No firearms or other weapons allowed. Lock them in your car.
- In general, leave our home better than you found it.
The Haven Event Center is operated by the non-profit woodHenge Foundation to support its wildlife sanctuary. Donations in appreciation of the Haven spirit are readily accepted. Rental fees are only to cover utilities, insurance and taxes. In-Kind work donations are also accepted. Check the Schedule Board or leave a suggestion.
